Biden Caught Barefaced Just Hours After Signing Mask Mandate

“Practice what you preach” is an unfamiliar term for those in the Democrat Party. Right after President Joe Biden signed a mandate requiring masks on federal property, as well as on interstate public travel, he was seen ditching his own face mask for a period of time while addressing the public from the Lincoln Memorial on federal land. He was attending the ‘Celebrating America’ event in which he gave a televised address to the American people while standing at the foot of the 16th president’s memorial.

The newly inaugurated President was seen standing before the Lincoln Memorial maskless and within a short distance to a person on his left who was also unmasked. He was barefaced not only during his televised address to the public but also outside the context of the speech. President Biden’s grandchildren also made an appearance at the Memorial and didn’t seem to be following his executive orders either. President Biden claimed that the recently signed mask mandate would save over 400,000 American lives and help fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Biden’s “100-day masking challenge” executive order requires masks and social distancing in federal buildings and on federal land at all times by federal employees and contractors. This includes airlines, trains, and transit systems traveling between states. While he cannot tell state and local officials what to require, he can urge states to enact their own mandates. He had also claimed in a tweet that the order was to ensure that America is ready to “mask up” and warned that the nation’s darkest and most deadly coronavirus pandemic days could be ahead.

Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked White House press secretary Jennifer Psaki the very next day why Biden did not wear a mask at the Lincoln Memorial, in which she claimed that the President had “bigger issues” to worry about than following his own rules on property. She said that he had been celebrating a historic day in our history and had been surrounded by family.

“We take a number of Covid precautions here, as you know. I don’t know that I have more for you on it than that,” Psaki responded. Doocy then pointed to a line Biden had coined in his Inaugural address. He told the American people to lead “not merely by the example of our power but by the power of our example.”

Do as I say but not as I do, right?
