In a recent Fox News “Life, Liberty and Levin” interview, former Speaker Newt Gingrich told host Mark Levin that he believes House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to be the most dangerous Speaker of the House we’ve probably had in American history. He talks about how her claims to “unite the country” by attempting to impeach former President Donald Trump are doing anything but.
Gingrich started by talking about Pelosi’s guarded enclave in San Francisco and where all of her ‘left-wing looney tunes’ friends would hang out together. He said radicals, like Vice President Kamala Harris, would mingle and socialize at cocktail parties and country clubs, acting like their policies or ideas made any sense.
The former speaker also mentioned Pelosi’s father and brother, who were both Democratic mayors of Baltimore, “has been in politics so long that she operates like a genuine machine politician of the old order. And she doesn’t mind abusing power. She doesn’t mind running over people … she’s so willing to break the rules and to, frankly, just say things that are totally untrue.”
Gingrich criticized Speaker Pelosi’s attempt to impeach former President Trump a second time for an alleged role in instigating the incident at the U.S Capitol. He tweeted out that the will of the American people has to be subordinate to the will of Pelosi. She has expressed fear in what to do if the American people picked him again. “What a formula for expressing Washington’s contempt for the people,” he added.
After four years of reporters interrogating and twisting former President Trump’s words, Gingrich pointed out that they don’t seem to yell questions at Speaker Pelosi. You don’t step out of line and ask tough questions, otherwise she’ll dismiss you. He called the press corps ‘left-wing lapdogs’ who were only behaving as trained, by biting the hands of Republicans.
Many arguments were made on term limits for career politicians, while other arguments pointed to cleaning up the corrupt and biased media. Former President Trump spoke on the flow of information and control of the narrative imposed by the radical left. He thought it was one of the greatest threats to our freedom, which would ultimately influence the decisions of the voters.
Rep. Madison Cawthorn has also called for term limits due to career politicians like Nancy Pelosi. He questioned the American Democracy when an aged oligarchy controls our republic and pointed out that career politicians are a clear and present threat to it. It’s time for Congress to read the room and pass the baton – the American people want term limits.
