CNN Contributor Suggests Taking Away Your Freedom To Reach ‘Herd Immunity’

At this point, Democrats are flat-out admitting that they are willing to take away your freedom in order to force people to vaccinate. Their plan is to keep ridiculing and bullying anyone who is still “on the fence” about the vaccine and when that doesn’t work, they’ll threaten their freedoms. This liberal-washed plan shouldn’t come as a surprise as we’ve been seeing it play out for months now.

Former Planned Parenthood President, Dr. Leana Wen, who is now a CNN contributor, went on the show to talk about incentivizing people in order to get the vaccine. States like Texas and Mississippi have stripped COVID-19 restrictions and got rid of mask mandates in order to let people use personal responsibility to make their own decisions, instead of the government. And while this makes common sense to most people, Dr. Wen sees it as a problem. Or at least she said the quiet part out loud. Oops.

During a March 10. interview, CNN’s Chris Cuomo mentioned several states that were reopening at 100% and asked Dr. Wen to share her thoughts about anyone who is apprehensive about getting a vaccine shot. Dr. Wen started off by saying that the “vaccine is the ticket to pre-pandemic life” and shared that the window is narrowing by the day.

“If everything is reopened, then what’s the carrot going to be? How are we going to incentivize people to actually get the vaccine? So that’s why I think the CDC and the Biden Administration needs to come out a lot bolder and say, ‘If you are vaccinated, you can do all these things. Here are all these freedoms that you have.’ Because otherwise, people are going to go out and enjoy these freedoms anyway,” Dr. Wen said.

It’s pretty hard to hear. Her answer was shocking enough that Cuomo’s face looks like a deer in headlights.

She then warns the viewers that if they don’t reach herd immunity by fall, then there is likely to be “another surge of COVID-19.” Is that the new carrot? This sounds a lot like how the mainstream media phrased social distancing and wearing masks last year. ‘If you wear a mask, you’ll be able to see your Grandma.’ A person’s freedoms don’t depend on whether or not you get vaccinated because, according to the Constitution, they are inalienable, self-evident and natural. They aren’t gifts from President Bien himself. Seems like the former Planned Parenthood president isn’t so ‘pro-choice’ anymore when it comes to individual medical decisions.

Mind you, an Emergent Biosolutions lab just ruined up to 15 million vaccine doses by mixing the wrong ingredients. The plant that had created doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine doses also had prior FDA violations. Employees had not been properly trained, records were not secured, testing procedures were not being followed, and measures that were intended to prevent “contamination or mix-ups” were found to be deficient.

Texas and Mississippi have already seen lowered hospitalization and COVID-19 positivity rates. The vaccine argument no longer works. While Republicans believe that an individual should make their own decisions regarding personal health, Democrats want to tell you what to do and if you don’t follow through, then there goes your freedom. You can’t argue against that when a radical left doctor openly admitted it on live TV.
