On Saturday, former President Donald Trump spoke at a “Save America Rally” In Wellington, Ohio to talk about the Biden Administration and their disastrous policies. Trump said that after five months crime is surging, murders are soaring, police departments are being gutted, and illegal aliens are overrunning the borders.
The rally was in support of Max Miller, whom Trump has endorsed in his primary challenge against Rep. Anthony Gonzalez. Gonzalez, who has represented Ohio’s 16th district since 2019, voted to impeach Trump in his second impeachment trial. He called Miller a part of “an amazing slate of crowd America first Republicans next year” and called Gonzalez nothing but “bad news” and a “Rino.” He specifically complimented Miller’s work in the White House on foreign policy.
Trump called out spiking gas prices and inflation that is skyrocketing right before our very own eyes. He said that China, Russia, and Iran are humiliating our country and called on Americans to pour every single ounce of their energy into winning the midterms and 2024.
“Nobody’s ever seen anything like it. Our poor borders. They were so perfect, they were so good. Drug cartels and human traffickers are back in business like they’ve never been before. They’re doing numbers that they’ve never even thought possible,” Trump said.
Trump said he gave the new administration the most “secure southern border” and that they flooded it with illegal migrants as this country has never seen.
He also called out the ‘woke’ military, including Gen. Mark Willey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who endorsed Critical Race Theory and declared that he wanted to learn about “white rage.” He said that our military will become incapable of fighting and taking orders with such training, adding that Biden has overturned a lot of things he has done.
Biden recently signed an executive order that undoes Trump’s ban on Critical Race Theory reaching federal agencies. It mandates discrimination in federal hiring, recruitment, and promotion, as well as conducting race-conscious and diversity training.
Trump also condemned Biden’s decision to sign the U.S back into the Paris Climate Agreement, which he said would cause trillions of dollars of damage to the American economy. He said that Biden’s plan to raise taxes would be “destroying our nation right before our very eyes.”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene also spoke at Trump’s first post-presidential rally, saying that she wants to impeach President Joe Biden and impose correction on the corruption caused by Democrat leaders. The crowd cheered at that.
Trump reminded the crowd of the importance of the 2022 mid-term elections and said millions of Americans have lost confidence In their vote, which he vowed to not let happen. He insisted that they focus on the 2020 election fraud while figuring out how to take back the House and defeat radical Democrats.
“You have to look back. We won the election in 2020. Who knows what it is going to be like in 2024? We are not going to have a country left. And if we don’t figure it out, we are not going to be in a position to win in 2022 or 2024,” Trump said.
The former president reminded the crowd that together they can send out a message that Big Tech tyrants and the mainstream media can’t censor, cancel, or ignore. He said that the rally tour was to “save America” and fight back against Biden’s unconstitutional policies.
The speech was similar to the one he gave earlier at the North Carolina GOP convention and reminded Americans that they are closer to making American great again. While the NC speech was more subdued, the Ohio speech was energizing and exciting for reminding us that the GOP will lead the fight ahead.
