VP Harris Plans Trip To The Border Just Days Before Trump, Another Attempt To Steal The Media & Spin The Narrative

It’s been more than 90 days since Vice President Kamala Harris was tapped as ‘border czar’ for handling the surge of illegal immigration at the U.S-Mexico border. While receiving mass amounts of criticism for her absence in the crisis, VP Harris is finally set to visit the southern border on Friday in El Paso, Texas, with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. At this point, the trip is not out of concern but damage control.

VP Harris has intentionally avoided visiting the border to see the damage the Biden Administration has caused. She has already proven who she prioritizes by feeling the need to speak with leaders in the Northern Triangle and “address the root causes of migration” rather than visiting the crisis in her own country. She has given countless excuses for the surge of illegal immigration such as climate change, foreign government corruption, and standard of living, but refuses to take any fault on her end. Even after all of the Trump-era border policies that Biden reversed, personal accountability is the one concept Democrats can’t seem to grasp.

Illegal immigration continues to explode at record levels, up more than 600% from last year. Border patrol agents apprehended more than 180,000 illegal immigrants in the month of May alone, with several counties issuing disaster declarations and requesting more law enforcement officials.

While Harris’s office and the Department of Homeland Security refused to confirm details of the visit, it’s clear that she was trying to beat former President Donald Trump. Her trip is set just a few days before Trump, who announced that he would be paying a visit to the border in Texas with Gov. Greg Abbott and discuss plans about building their own border barrier. He will also be sending reinforcements to the Texas border with Mexico.

In an emailed statement from his Save America organization, Trump called out Harris for setting a trip to the border just days before his and boasted that she would’ve never visited the border if it weren’t for his GOP border trip.

“After months of ignoring the crisis at the Southern Border, it is great that we got Kamala Harris to finally go and see the tremendous destruction and death they’ve created — a direct result of Biden ending my very tough but fair Border policies. Harris and Biden were given the strongest Border in American history. And now, it is by far the worst in American history. If Governor Abbott and I weren’t going there next week, she would have never gone,” Trump stated.

The move is so obvious that radical-left media outlets have started amplifying Trump’s message. Forbes said in a recent article that VP Harris was visiting the border “ahead of Trump” and MSN stated that her trip comes just “five days before Donald Trump’s.” Even CNN has pointed out that VP Harris “struggles to answer border questions.”

The White House announced that the timing of Harris’s border trip was “completely unrelated” to Trump’s planned visit, but the rest of the country knows that her intentions are to steal the mainstream media coverage away from Trump and Abbott. Nothing will change after her visit except an attempt to spin the narrative and blame everyone else for the problem. That’s the Democrat way.
