China Refuses To Conduct 2nd WHO Investigation At Wuhan Lab, Calls It Disrespect To Science

Published on

China’s Zeng Yixin, the vice-minister of the National Health Commission, recently turned down a proposal from the World Health Organization to conduct the second phase of investigations into how the COVID-19 pandemic started. Yixin said it was “impossible” to accept the lab leak as an origin-tracing plan for the virus and dismissed it entirely as a conspiracy theory.

The theory, however, received more credibility and media attention after President Joe Biden called for officials to investigate it. While former President Donald Trump has talked about the possibility of the virus coming from a lab accident, the media only cares to investigate when a Democrat is talking about it. Biden said there were only two likely origins for the virus – a lab leak theory or from an animal.

White House officials criticized China for their rejection of the WHO investigation and said they have not been transparent about the early days of the pandemic. They said that China’s position was irresponsible and dangerous, adding that they are deeply disappointed in the move. They said they will continue to call on the country to provide the needed access to data and samples that will prevent the next pandemic. “This is about saving lives in the future, and it’s not a time to be stonewalling,” the White House said.

Director-general of the WHO, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, reported to China that they had “identified areas for further study” and sent a letter to the U.N agency member’s laying out a plan for the phase two investigation of how COVID-19 emerged. He explained that there were five main areas for further study, with one of them being the human cases identified in December 2019.

But Zeng pushed back and said that the second phase on the origin study “contains language that does not respect science or common sense.” He said that they wouldn’t follow through with such a plan and that the Chinese government supports origin study “based on science,” not politics.

“To be frank, I was rather taken aback when I learned about this. Why? Because in the plan, it set as a priority the hypothesis that China violated lab particles. This reflects disrespect for common sense and arrogance against science,” Zeng added.

Zeng went on to emphasize that the three workers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology were not infected with COVID-19 and that the genome sequence has no trace of man-made engineering. He said there was no study of a man-made virus and no gain-of-function studies conducted at the institute. Yuan Zhiming, the director of the biosafety lab at the Wuhan lab, also claimed that the Institute maintained a record of “zero infection of COVID-19” since the start of the pandemic.

While the WHO’s first investigation widely dismissed the lab leak theory, it was later revealed that the report lacked key data and had possible conflicts of interest among investigative members of the team. They also announced plans to investigate the animal markets around Wuhan and research institutions, including the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Tedros emphasized that the Chinese Communist Party needed to be more transparent about what happened and “owed it” to the millions who suffered and died from COVID-19.

Professor Clive Hamilton, an author who exposed Chinese interference in Australian democracy, said he believed China was worried they would not be able to control the second WHO inquiry. “The previous inquiry was a whitewash because Beijing chose the team and wrote the report. The Chinese government sure looks like it is hiding something from the rest of the world,” he said.

Australia has also called on China to investigate the origins of the virus. They retaliated by imposing billions of dollars worth of trade sanctions on Australian producers.

Former U.S Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, however, said that the Biden Administration has done nothing to Pressure china and that the Wuhan Lab is still open. He said that China’s Communist Regime will likely advance if the United States does not add pressure on it.

“Don’t forget, that [Wuhan] lab is still open. That lab is still conducting viral research. It won’t surprise me at all if the military is still inside that lab. And this administration has literally done nothing to say, ‘No, you have to, at the very least, shut down the place that it is likely this virus came from,’” Pompeo said.

But Biden Administration officials are just as corrupt as the Wuhan researchers in the COVID-19 investigation. Just look at Dr. Anthony Fauci. He funded all of the “research” for them to do it in the first place and now he’s making a fortune on the vaccine. And then there are the mainstream media that has been suppressing the lab leak theory this whole time.

Talk about a Plandemic.
