Photos and videos recently surfaced showing a group of 300-400 migrants arriving at a border gate in Del Rio, Texas, and being met by the National Guard and U.S Border Patrol agents. State troopers were also at the gated from Nebraska, Florida, and Texas. Border Patrol and state troops are being overwhelmed and overrun with the mockery of Biden’s immigration laws, but at least there aren’t any mean tweets going out.

Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin first reported the group near the border, demanding to be let in. A CBP spokesperson said that the group consisted of unaccompanied juveniles, single adults, family units, and pregnant women from several countries including Cuba, Venezuela, and Haiti.

While some of the migrant families were being let through, adult men were trying to force their way through the gate. Border Patrol agents and state troopers were seen yelling at them to get back. There were only eight federal agents and police officers pushing back on the gate to prevent hundreds of people from pushing their way through. The number of people attempting to enter the United States doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

Melugin tweeted that troopers say the Border is “completely overrun” and that their processing centers are all overcapacity. They said they couldn’t handle a group of that size and had concerns they may have to wait in the blistering heat. The area is seeing about 1,000 migrants a day and is ranked second for the highest number of migrant encounters along the border.

The Del Rio Border Patrol Sector Chief Austin Skero adds that there are only 12 agents patrolling over 240 miles of the border. He said if you have undocumented migrants on your land to call them, but they can’t guarantee how fast they’ll get there. Elected officials and state governors have blamed the Biden Administration and their massive change in policies.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said that the Trump-era policies led to a dramatic decrease in the number of people coming across the border and that they were abandoned for open-border policies. The month of June saw a 5% increase in illegal immigration along the border, with agents recording 188,829 encounters. While the majority of encounters have been with single adults, there has also been an increase in unaccompanied children.

The Biden Administration said they would be preparing for an influx of Haitian migrants following the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise on July 7. While the administration would allow more than 100,000 Haitians to apply for Temporary Protected Status, U.S Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas warned people not to arrive by boat or they will be intercepted by the Coast Guard. He told people that if they take the sea then they will not be allowed into the United States.

A CBP spokesperson shared that the massive group that arrived in Del Rio were transported into custody from the area in busses, with agents saying it was one of the biggest groups they’ve seen in the region. Border Patrol officials said they were thankful to have state troopers from Florida and Nebraska to help out. 


Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts said he’d send state troops to assist Texas law enforcement officers since the “disastrous policies” of the Biden-Harris administration created the crisis “While the federal government has fallen short in its response, Nebraska is happy to step up to provide assistance to Texas as they work to protect their communities and keep people safe,” Gov. Ricketts said.

According to another report in the border city of Laredo, Texas state troopers found 105 migrants in the back of a semi-truck during a traffic stop. The group was seen packed inside the back of the truck and the driver is not being investigated by the Department of Homeland Security.

These are only the latest incidents being kept out of the mainstream media. But it only gets more troubling for the Biden Administration as they refuse to answer the calls from Border states. Even Vice President Kamala Harris’s trip to the border was a mere photo-op. Interesting how Biden Administration officials want to go door-to-door for citizens to be vaccinated but turn a blind eye to the people pouring into our country.
