Biden Won’t Require Vaccine Mandates For Migrants But Wants To Attack Unvaccinated Americans Daily

President Joe Biden has been talking about his plans to promote COVID-19 vaccine mandates for American citizens for quite some time now. He’s even hinted at requiring vaccination passports for those who are traveling. But when it comes to migrants crossing the Southern border, Biden doesn’t really care what they do. You’d think he’d have some COVID-19 restrictions or regulations in place for migrants considering he campaigned on shutting down the country over this virus. If it were so “dangerous,” it’d show.

When White House press secretary Jen Psaki was first asked about the COVID-19 infected migrants crossing the Southern border, she has struggled to maintain a solid answer. She said the White House is working with “interagency working groups” to develop a plan for international travelers but did not mention illegal immigrants. She cited the Delta Variant as the reason why they have maintained existing travel restrictions today.

But things are getting worse for border town communities as Biden continues to ignore the crisis. The city of McAllen, Texas recently opened an emergency shelter to expand capacity for COVID-19 positive migrants. They’ve been setting up temporary shelters to respond to the surge in cases, adding that the influx has become a full-blown “crisis.” City officials announced more than 850 infected migrants were released into the city.

“The emergency compound set up for COVID positive migrants released from federal custody expanded significantly overnight. Several hundred here. Initial capacity 250, say they’re going up to 650. We see no federal agencies here. Only city of McAllen resources & manpower” tweeted Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin.

The city even released a statement saying that despite the city and community partners’ best efforts, they are unable to handle the number of immigrants and that the city has become a crisis they did not expect and have “proactively tried to avoid for seven years.” They’ve seen more than 7,500 COVID-19 positive migrants released by Customs and Border Protection since February and more than 1,500 alone in the last week.

Local charity centers are being overwhelmed by the numbers and unable to provide quarantine for most. Compound centers, which usually have a capacity of 250 people, are being prepared by CBP to handle 650. Mayor Javier Villalobos later shared that the facilities are currently holding around 850 people.

Those who don’t have COVID-19 are still free to move throughout the United States. While a small percentage are being quarantined for COVID-19, more than 188,000 migrants were encountered in June alone. The numbers have continued to increase, with July looking at more than 210,000 and an increase in unaccompanied children.


But the Biden Administration has continued to ignore the specifics and dodge questions related to the border. One reported even asked Psaki whether the administration would require migrants to get vaccinated as they continue to rush through the border and flood into American cities.

“That’s not what the CBP is doing. There are NGOs and other international organizations who are vaccinating migrants as they come across the border as work in partnership with us. Certainly, that helps keep a range of people safe in the country,” Psaki said.

Psaki has continued to emphasize that the Department of Homeland Security is “taking steps” to stop the spread of COVID-19 at the border but has only referred to mask-wearing and testing at local facilities. No talking about the “pandemic of the unvaccinated,” as President Joe Biden called it.

Then there’s “Border czar” Kamala Harris who only wants to focus on the “root causes” of immigration rather than border security. The White House hasn’t bothered to offer border states any federal resources to handle the problems they caused in the first place. And now, they’ve given more rights and privileges to illegal migrants entering the country than actual legal citizens.
