COVID Testing Center Denies Candace Owens An Appointment Based On Her Political Views

Conservative commentator Candace Owens is being targeted yet again for her political views. Owens is unvaccinated but follows the various mandates associated with the events she attends and the cities she goes to. She gets tested once every two weeks and goes through the standard process of following COVID-19 guidelines.

When visiting Aspen, Colorado, Owens turned to Aspen Laboratories, otherwise known as Aspen Covid Test. They pride themselves in being the “only CLIA Certified High Complexity laboratory capable of resulting Covid-19 PCR and antigen tests” in the Roaring Fork Valley area. The lab, however, denied her request for an appointment. The only other testing clinic available was the one near City Hall, which had inconsistent result times and only took walk-ins. It was described as a “back-alley” operation and is literally in an alley.

Owens explained in a tweet how she received an email from a Covid testing facility that refused to administer a test on her because they didn’t like her politics. She said she was “banned” from making sure she doesn’t accidentally spread COVID-19 and adds that she would be going live with the email on Instagram.

Owens later addressed the “she must be lying” crowd, telling them that she would be plastering the email on Twitter and Instagram for the world to see. “The public health crisis is SO REAL, that they are now banning individuals from COMPLYING with rules to ensure they don’t spread COVID,” Owens wrote.

The co-founder of the clinic Suzanna Lee wrote an email saying that she cannot support anyone who has “proactively worked to make this pandemic worse by spreading misinformation, politicizing, and discouraging the wearing of masks.” They also accused Owens of “actively dissuading” people from receiving vaccinations.

She said her team has worked themselves to “exhaustion” to ensure that the community remains protected and argued that it would be unfair to them to “serve you.” At this point, a registered Democrat is unwilling to serve a Black conservative over political views on a public health issue.

Owens hit back on Lee’s email, calling it objectively the “most hilarious e-mail I have ever received in my life.” She went on to say that nothing screams “this virus isn’t political” like googling the names of the people who book COVID-19 tests to determine on a case-by-case basis whether or not they’ll be allowed to test.

“Nothing screams ‘I love my local community’ quite like refusing to test people who are going to a local event and wish to ensure they are negative and therefore do not spread the virus,” Owens wrote.

Owens went on to say that the people who work for her must love her for letting her send that email in the first place, calling it “emotionally unstable” and “hysterical.” She said it’s hard to pick the funniest part of Lee’s virtue-signaling rant, but that it has to be the fact that she thinks she is the only person who can administer a covid test from here to Texas.

It was so shocking that even U.S House Rep. Lauren Boebert responded to the news about her denial at the testing site. She wrote that it was shameful to see Colorado denying Candace a COVID test because she’s a conservative. “The Left just goes lower and lower every single day,” she adds.

Florida GOP candidate Lavern Spicer also responded to Boebert, adding that “Jim Crow is back.”

Liberals have continued to defend the private facilities for making their own decisions, even though Owens said she does not care that they turned her down. She just said she was pointing to the obvious fact that the pandemic is “fake.” She said if it wasn’t fake, then Lee would encourage testing of the unvaccinated in her area.

You know we aren’t in a real crisis when the testing facilities start choosing their patients based on political ideologies.
