White House Blames Trump For The Border Crisis, Things Were Better Under GOP Policy

White House press secretary Jen Psaki has continued to blame President Joe Biden’s border crisis on former president Donald Trump, including both his policies and practices. Some reporters have questioned Psaki on Biden’s efforts to secure the border, but Psaki has only excused their abandonment as “dealing with the very broken system” they inherited from the previous administration. She called Trump’s policies “inhuman,” “immoral,” and “ineffective” while saying that they continue to add to the dysfunction they deal with today.

Radical left Rep. Maxine Waters also points to Trump policies for the way that migrants are being treated but adds that the Biden Administration is the one making the decisions. She said she is “unhappy” with the administration and asked what the hell we are doing here.

But federal reports suggest that Biden administration officials have actually enabled the abuse of migrants through abandoning Trump-era policies. While there were no incident reports ranging from Jan. 21 to Feb 25, the first month of the Biden Administration, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Refugee Resettlement later recorded 33 separate instances of physical and sexual abuse allegations in one month. The allegations were made up of staff and non-staff members among unaccompanied minors. A Judicial Watch Group stated in a news release that the incidents are tied to ‘voluntary agencies,’ which are the contractors for the federal government.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton states that there is not only sexual abuse occurring in the shelters for unaccompanied children but also violence amongst them too. He said it is not surprising that the Biden administration has enabled human trafficking, which has resulted in the violence and abuse of kids.

President Biden’s permissive and open stance on illegal immigration has not only drawn in the current surge of unaccompanied children at the border but the human and sex traffickers who prey on them too. Some of the facilities have already noted that they are not adequately equipped to care for the surge of minors. They have already been exempted by the Department of Health and Human Services from the staffing requirements that state-licensed child facilities must meet. The HHS and federal spending records also note this, which means it is unlikely that some of the conditions have changed.

An HHS spokesperson even admits that half of the unaccompanied minors haven’t been checked up on, adding that they make “every effort” to check up on the children after they unite with a parent or sponsor, but that they no longer have legal oversight once they leave their custody.

Biden’s decision to end the Trump-era “Remain in Mexico” strategy and restore “catch-and-release” has also resulted in the flood of people crossing into the United States. There are currently over 15,000 mostly Haitian migrants waiting under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas, to be processed by the Biden Administration.

Psaki has continued to insist that there isn’t an open border, even though Trump has emphasized that “the number of illegals coming into our country is at a level that has never been seen before.” He said they can do whatever they want and go wherever they want, adding that the country is becoming a cesspool of humanity.

“Nothing is done and the corrupt Mainstream Media is giving almost no attention to what will be perhaps the greatest Crisis in the history of our Country. This is not just a Border Crisis, this is a Crisis Crisis,” Trump wrote.

The border is just another example of Biden’s complete failure as the President. He couldn’t just maintain what was given to him. He had to go and make it progressively worse.
