Defund The Police Democrats Drop $100K On Private Security, MSNBC Calls Them Poison

Published on

Despite being strong advocates of the Defund the Police movement, it seems that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other members of “The Squad” have no problem dropping thousands of dollars on their own private security. According to Federal Election Commission records, members of the Squad have dropped nearly $100,000 on private security in the third financial quarter.

The FEC records state that AOC’s campaign has spent nearly $10,000 on private policing, Rep. Ayanna Pressley has spent almost $4,000, Rep. Ilham Omar spent over $22,000, and Rep. Cori Bush topped everyone else’s spending with nearly $65,000 on private security. The funds were spent between the beginning of July and late September, with cash and private donations being dished out to a handful of firms. This means that many of the donations sent to candidates calling to defund the police were spent to pay out private police.

Last year, Bush called the Minneapolis Police Department “rotten to the root” and claimed that the current infrastructure in place should not exist anymore. She emphasized how they can’t go about “creating a different process” with the same infrastructure in place. She said they needed to “ensure” the dignity and humanity of all.

But this isn’t the first time that many far-left Democrats who want to take away the police have their own protection. We have seen this occur in Minneapolis, New York City, and Washington, D.C. AOC hasn’t even tried to twist the definition in favor of anything else. She states that “defunding police means defunding police” and not “budget tricks or funny math.” So why does AOC have police and security around her when she hates officers so much? Rules for thee, but not for me.

Things look so bad for radical left Democrats that even frequent MSNBC guest and marketing strategist Donny Deutsch said that embracing AOC and the far-left is “suicide” for the Democrat Party. While Deutsch appeared to still bash Trump, he said that if Republicans ran anybody but him right now they would “win in a landslide.” He went on to suggest that their political party was doing so bad that if Ron DeSantis ran he would win by “double-digits.” Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough even appeared to agree.

Scarborough went on to say that he has never seen the Democrats so “wildly out of step” with mainstream America and that it was creating quite a bit of unrest from within. Deutsch agrees and said he lives in a predominantly deep blue area full of Clinton and Obama voters, adding that there are not many Biden voters, just anti-Trump voters. Deutsch said that the worst part is that the Democrats are embracing the radical ideology that is “poisoning” people left and right.

“And the other Democrats that we see being paraded forward, the AOC’s of the world, the far-left, are suicide for the Democrats. So the Democrats better get some new faces and the Democrats better figure out that this world lives just right of center or on a good year, just left of center and it’s this socialist kind of pulling all the way to the left is a disaster,” Deutsch said.

The more reports being released about “The Squad” members, the more we see just how corrupt and hypocritical they really are. You know things are bad when MSNBC chimes in to criticize a Democrat.
