The House Intelligence Committee wants to make it clear that ‘wokeness’ needs to stay out of the military and does nothing to protect the country. At one of the most recent hearings on “diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility,” House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes made it clear that their focus on these issues distracts from far more important ones at hand.
“Unfortunately, we can’t counter a hypersonic missile launch with better pronoun usage and a deeper understanding of white rage won’t help rescue Americans stranded in Afghanistan. The indications, ranging from trivial recruitment videos to major intelligence estimates, show an infatuation with leftwing dogmas and politicized actions that have nothing to do with deterring our enemies and winning wars,” Nunes explained.
Nunes went on to say that he is not only seeing this happen in the Intelligence Community but throughout the entire national security as well. He said he is seeing it in the military, the State Department, and other bodies, where they are presenting seminars on the dangers of “white supremacy” and “systemic racism.” He also talked about how the State Department is touting “International Pronoun Day” and “Intersex Awareness Day,” suspending council members for political reasons, and using falsified information to secure warrants to spy on people. The FBI infamously used falsified information to spy on Trump campaign associate Carter Page.
Nunes claimed that the list goes on and on with the ways in which national security agencies are becoming enthralled by critical race theory and pronoun etiquette. He said that the U.S has been too focused on those issues while China has been testing hypersonic missiles and becoming “increasingly aggressive” in terms of intellectual property theft, espionage, currency manipulation, corporate coercion, and cybercrime. He also pointed out the nuclear programs in Russia, North Korea, Iran, and other malign regimes.
Critics have pointed out how the ‘woke-obsessed’ agenda has destroyed and polarized national security, as well as severely eroded the trust and bipartisan support that they have long received. They urged directors to stay out of the politics, as America has “real enemies” that mean to do harm.
Nunes has emphasized how American enemies have no interest in global warming or race issues, but that they watch us every day to “find weaknesses” and enable attacks on our citizens. His comments come after the Pentagon confirmed that nearly 450 Americans are still trapped in Afghanistan during the Biden Administration’s botched withdrawal.
The latest tally was made by Secretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl, who was responding to Sen. Jim Inhofe’s confusion about the latest numbers presented by the administration. Kahl detailed how many Americans he believed were still in Afghanistan, adding that 196 have been ready to depart and another 243 have been contacted and are not ready to depart yet. This is up from the 363 that the State Department had reported to congressional staff last week.
The U.S government keeps upping the total number of Americans stranded in Afghanistan and can’t seem to keep a total count. When a ‘woke agenda’ is at play in the military, then everything has to be questioned. Especially when numbers change by the day.
