National Security Adviser Sullivan Is Foreign Policy Advisor In Former Clinton Lawyer Indictment

There has been no indication that Jake Sullivan is a target of Special counsel John Durham’s investigation, only that he received information from campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann. According to two sources, Jake Sullivan is the foreign policy advisor that was referred to in the indictment of Sussmann.

This is the closest Special counsel Durham’s Russia investigation has reached anyone who is directly connected to the Biden White House. Sussmann was charged with lying to the FBI and has pleaded guilty to lying before a federal agent. This case was a result of Durham’s investigation into the Russian origins.

According to the report, Durham alleges that Sussmann told James Baker he wasn’t doing work for any client when he asked. He requested and held a meeting in which he presented evidence of a secret channel between former president Donald Trump and Russia.

According to Durham’s indictment, he actually billed the Clinton campaign later for the meeting. The FBI investigated the story about Trump’s alleged connection to the Russian bank. It turned out that it was false. The Durham indictment describes a scenario in which an anonymous Clinton lawyer emailed the Clinton Campaign Team, including Sullivan, regarding the Russian Bank-1 claims that Sussmann had shared.

There are no indications that Sullivan is a target for Durham’s investigation. Sussmann only provided information.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre directed Fox News to the Department of Justice. She stated that the White House did not have any comment as of Tuesday. Jean-Pierre stated that she didn’t know anything about the situation they were mentioning and that she would need to talk to the staff. Durham also claims that Sussmann worked for a Big Tech company and Clinton’s campaign.

Prosecutors claim that Sussmann’s lie is crucial because it misled FBI General Counsel and other FBI personnel regarding the political nature of his work.

On Nov. 4, a grand jury returned another indictment against Igor Danchenko. He is a Russian analyst accused of being the primary source in the Steele dossier. Five counts of making false statements against the FBI have been filed against him. His next court appearance is set for Wednesday.
