Today, Senator Romney was positive for COVID-19. He is currently unresponsive and will continue to be isolated and remote-work for the recommended time. Mrs. Romney tested negative. Both Senator and Mrs. Romney were fully vaccinated against the virus and have received boosters.
Romney joins a group of legislators, which includes Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in New York (D-NY), and Rep. James Clyburn in South Carolina (D-SC), both of whom have recently tested positive for coronavirus.
