Harpercollins Readying Release Of Peter Schweizer Blockbuster Investigation

Politico Playbook exclusively reported Wednesday, that HarperCollins will soon publish Red-Handed: The How American Elites Get Rich and Help China Win.

Politico was able to obtain a copy of the book’s cover. It features photos of President Joe Biden, Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping and former House Speaker John Boehner, LeBron James and Elon Musk as well as Henry Kissinger and Bill Gates. Politico claims that Red-Handed will expose “bad actors at both ends of politics and their willingness to do China’s bidding.”

The book’s subject matter may be cause for concern given the author’s track record in investigative work. The FBI launched an investigation into the Clinton Foundation after Peter Schweizer’s Clinton Cash was revealed. Profiles in Corruption and Secret Empires were his last two books. They exposed Hunter Biden’s trip aboard Air Force Two to China in 2013. Hunter’s firm then signed a $1.5billion deal with a subsidiary of China’s Bank of China within 10 days.

Schweizer is also the president of the nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute, (GAI), and a senior contributor at Breitbart News. He also authored Throw Them All Out which according to left-leaning Slate was “the book that set off the STOCK Act stampede.” The bipartisan STOCK Act (Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge), banned insider trading by members and was signed by President Barack Obama on April 4, 2012. Both parties supported the legislation with overwhelming support. The House Financial Services Committee’s then-chairman Spencer Bachus (R-AL) announced that he would not run for reelection following the publication of Schweizer’s Throw Them All Out. CBS’s 60 Minutes reported on Schweizer’s revelations and won the Joan Shorenstein-Barone Award for excellence Washington-based journalism.
