February 17th, 2022 marks the one-year anniversary of Rush Limbaugh’s death. Several prominent conservatives paid tributes to the man behind the Golden EIB Microphone.
“One year ago Rush left us. Although it is difficult to accept, there is much gratitude. He took the arrows from his left for 33 years. Today, there are millions of Americans standing up for America. He was more than just a politician. I miss you Rush. Every day,” Limbaugh and Bo Snerdley, a longtime producer and friend — James Golden — stated on Thursday.
Many others joined the conversation on social media to remember Limbaugh one-year after his death from advanced lung cancer.
“Rush Limbaugh was an icon of conservative principles. “Today, on the anniversary of his death, we honour his life and fight for the freedoms that he championed,” Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), said:
“Today marks one-year since we lost one the most important voices in the conservative movement. Rush Limbaugh,” said the GOP from its official Twitter account. It identified Limbaugh as an “advocate of freedom” who “helped to shape the Republican Party.”
Rep. Byron Donalds (R.FL) stated that today we will remember the Great Rush Limbaugh. He was a patriot with ‘talent loaned from God’. His legacy will not be forgotten
“One year ago today, we lost the BEST American broadcaster. Rush Limbaugh’s legacy won’t die. Rest in Peace Rush, America is a GREATER place thanks to you!” Rep. Ronny Johnson (R-TX), said the same as other tributes.
Diana Allocco (the managing editor of The Limbaugh Letter) marked the occasion with an op ed that detailed the lessons Limbaugh taught conservatives about how to defeat the Left.
She wrote that Rush was “the most dangerous man in America” and she should embrace the truth about us being the most dangerous people in America.
She said, “They may currently control the institutions, levers of power and most of the media, but they are surrounded.” They know it.
