Georgia Congressional Candidate Mike Collins Froze $10 Million Raised On Freedom Convoy

Georgia trucking company executive Mike Collins, a congressional candidate, reacted to GoFundMe’s freezing of a fundraiser called Freedom Convoy 2022. Collins said that truckers are protesting on their own dime. They’re not making money if the truck isn’t moving down the road. They can’t be sitting still and making money.

Collins said, “And if the federal government had any guts they’d put GoFundMe executives behind bars for what they are doing to them.” That’s highway robbery.

Collins and Boyle discussed the U.S. trucker congy, which was inspired by the Canadian trucker congy. It is being organized to protest vaccine mandates.

Facebook also censored the convoy of U.S. truckers earlier this week. Collins responded by saying that it just shows how much control social media and these platforms have gotten to the point where they believe they can over everything in America.

The congressional candidate said, “It’s now time to disintegrate a lot of these giant media companies out there.”

Collins noted that the trucking sector has been “pummeled” with regulations and taxes for decades. It’s an industry that’s been battered and down.

“And then, you add a pandemic that lasted well over a full year. Not only was it impossible to get food through truck stops; rest areas were closed — but shippers and consignees were also scared to death. He said that you might drive up to them, but they might be closed.”

Collins stated, “It was just very, very difficult for drivers, but they’re out there and they know how crucial their job is — it is the backbone of our country. “They were there, even though their families were home, scared, and they were afraid — we were all scared.”

The candidate for Congress stated that freedom is still important to people and that a mandate to get vaccinated “is just the last straw”, prompting protests from truckers in Canada and the United States.

Collins stated that Collins was not only standing up for trucking industry rights but also for American, Canadian and average people’s rights.

He said, “These aren’t your Ivy League graduates, and your elite celebrities, or your politicians, that everybody knows.” “This is just an average, everyday, blue-collar person, and that’s probably what makes it more special than any other.”

Collins answered a question about his message to truckers in America organizing their own freedom convoy and said that he was certain that people would join him.
