Former Ukraine Ambassador On Putin’s Kill List Calls On Biden, America To Be Leader Of The World

The former Ukrainian ambassador to the U.S. claimed he was on a Russian killing list and told Fox News that President Biden and America must take leadership to end Russia’s war against Ukraine. Valeriy Chaly stated that President Biden should now “make real history”, from an unidentified location in Ukraine. “Now is the time for America to lead, to be a leader in the defense of the world.”

He continued, “We trust President Biden. We trust Americans.” “We want to see you as the leader of the global community.”

Friday marked the ninth anniversary of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

Chaly, who was Ukraine’s ambassador in the U.S. between 2015 and 2019, stated that one of the best ways not to sanction Russia is to suffocate its economy but to meet Putin’s aggression using military might.

Chaly stated that Russia’s best sanctions are to provide Ukraine with defensive weapons, which include sophisticated anti-missile and anti-air equipment.

Russian troops claimed they took control of a Ukrainian nuclear power station early Friday. According to U.N. officials and Ukrainian officials, a portion of the plant was set on fire by the attack. However, no radiation was released.

Chaly said that Ukraine is willing to fight for weeks and months if necessary because “no other options” for Ukrainians.

Chaly, who is the chairman of the board at Ukraine Crisis Media Center, stated, “If we lose that, we will become slaves to Russian autocrats.”

The Ukrainian military has defied Western intelligence estimates that Kyiv could be overthrown within 72 hours after the Russian invasion.

He said, “I’ll be honest with you.” “If they kill me or my family, they will kill my relatives. I will cease [my] diplomatic activities… I will go even further.”

Chaly, one of the country’s top diplomats told Fox News that he had met Putin multiple times, including in Crimea, after the Russians took it from Ukraine in 2014. Chaly stated that he had welcomed Putin to Ukraineinain Land in Crimea. Fox News was “surprised” by this statement.

Chaly stated that he was able to see in Putin’s eyes only three letters when he met him, just like Senator McCain had mentioned: KGB.
