Senators from the Democratic Party claimed that Hunter Biden’s authenticated laptop was a Russian propaganda campaign against Biden, which was debunked by Russia before the 2020 election.
Jim Sciutto, CNN’s anchor, asked Senator Chris Murphy (D–CT) why Hunter believed Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation. He said that Hunter was fabricated by an anti-Biden propaganda campaign and was “Kremlin-contacted”.
The Senator attempted to back his wild theory by saying that the mere fact that emails are being sent into the public sphere by Rudy Giuliani tells you where they came from. “At some point you just have to believe the things you see. When individuals are either Russian agents identified or conspiring with Russian agents, the information on which the mainstream media report is provided, you need to understand the deal.”
Murphy said, “I’m certainly not the only one here.” “Fifty intelligence agents at high levels… said that this was most likely Russian propaganda.”
Murphy’s comments may have been deliberately misleading. Politico published the title “Hunter Biden story Russian disinfo, dozens former intel officials claim”, but intel agents didn’t say that unambiguously. Politico actually reported the following:
We would like to stress that we don’t know if the emails that Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s personal lawyer, sent to the New York Post are authentic or fake. We also don’t have any evidence that Russia was involved in the case. However, our experience makes it very suspicious that the Russian government played any significant role in it.
Senator Chris Coons (D.DE) doubled down on Fox News October 15, 2020. He called reports about Hunter’s “laptop of hell” “unreliable and “debunked” Coons stated that he was glad Twitter had censored the original New York Post reporting on Hunter’s laptop.
According to the Times’ acknowledgement, the senator denied Hunter’s laptop email validity. However, the Times admitted Wednesday that the laptop’s contents were genuine, which is contrary to the Democrat’s unfounded claims.
The New York Times obtained those emails from a cache that appeared to have been taken from a laptop left behind by President Biden at a Delaware repair shop. People familiar with the email and other files in the cache were able to authenticate them.
Hunter’s emails were not denied by the Democrat senators alone. 15 establishment media personalities claimed that Hunter’s laptop emails had been forged by Russia before the Times verified them.
Perhaps the media deliberately tried to make Russian disinformation seem plausible in order to support Joe Biden, the former presidential candidate. Joe Biden is currently the Justice Department’s investigator into Hunter’s tax fraud and corrupt business dealings.
Instead of asking journalists questions like Emma Joe Morris, Breitbart News’s Political Editor, about the story that authored the “laptop-from-hell” story at The New York Post, the media were complicit in covering one of the most scandalous political scandals of this century.
The lies of the establishment didn’t stop there. Jen Psaki, White House press secretary, claimed that Hunter’s authenticated laptop was by Emma Joe Morris.
She replied to a reporter’s query, “I think it is widely known and widely understood that there was a wide range of Russian disinformation back then in 2020.”
