Top Republicans Consider Impeaching Joe Biden After Midterm Elections

If they retake both chambers of Congress, top Republicans may consider impeaching President Joe Biden. Jordan would be the head of the House Judiciary Committee hearing on the impeachment case, before possibly conveying the Senate articles of impeachment.

Jordan noted that any impeachment article against Biden had to be supported by all Republican caucus members. Jordan said, “The conference must decide.” “You must have the full support of the conference leadership and all conference participants.”

Biden may be impeached for other reasons. Fentanyl was the most deadly drug among 18-to-45-year-olds in Biden’s first years as president. The inflation rate has reached a record high of 40 years. Gas prices are at all-time highs. Wages have declined each week. The supply chain problems have not abated. The nation was also deeply embittered by the tragic withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The most striking is President Biden’s complete disregard for the law and refusal to enforce the border. His decision to ignore federal immigration laws and allow 2,000,000 people to enter the country unimpeded is a direct violation of Article 2 of the Constitution.

Cruz said that impeachment can be used as a “partisan cudgel”, but pointed out that the “Democrats weaponized impediment” to defeat Donald Trump. They used it to attack Trump because they disagree with him. One of the disadvantages to doing that is… the more you weaponize and turn it into an partisan cudgel. Cruz and Jordan aren’t the only Republicans who have spoken out about impeachment. Marjorie Taylor Greene (Republican from Georgia) has filed three impeachment resolutions to target Biden. Bob Gibbs (R.OH), Andy Biggs, Brian Babin (R.TX), Randy Weber (R.TX), and Randy Weber have all filed articles of impeachment.

In August, Senator Lindsey Graham (Republican from South Carolina) stated that if Americans are stranded behind enemy line after the devastating evacuation from Afghanistan, it would constitute a “high crime” and a misdemeanor under Article III of the Constitution and should lead to Biden’s impeachment.

If Republicans take control of the House after the midterms they will be able to investigate Hunter Biden’s laptop and Joe Biden’s connection with corruption in China. They also have the ability to investigate Dr. Anthony Fauci’s funding of the Wuhan laboratory in China.
