You might have noticed that Joe Biden, the White House, and others have been testing a new slogan to attack Republicans: “MAGA” (or “Ultra MAGA”) Biden even called President Donald Trump “The Great MAGA Kings.”
Jen Psaki, White House Press Secretary, stated that Biden invented this stuff because it was an idea of his own.
White House press sec. Jen Psaki tells @MaryKBruce that Pres. Biden came up with new “ultra-MAGA” label himself because he is struck by “how extreme some of the policies and proposals are that a certain wing of the Republican Party…are advocating for.” https://t.co/8GJN4s4cV2 pic.twitter.com/cDqrZv13rQ

Psaki stated that the president used the phrase, and the president made the comments himself. “What struck him was how extreme many of the policies are from a particular wing of Republican Party, that is taking up too much Republican Party power.”
As I pointed out, it was quite funny to see how clueless they were about how this is said. People think that “ultra MAGA”, when Americans are unable to find baby formula or can’t afford Biden’s gas, sounds great. These people can recall that Trump was not a problem in any of these situations. Trump made it clear by using the title with a meme called “Lord of the Rings”, promoting the “Return of the MAGA Kings” meme on social media.
It is also stupid because it makes Biden sound divisive, petty, and obsessed with Trump. He doesn’t have any achievements to point to; all he has are his failures, so he doesn’t have much to add. However, attacking MAGA is demonizing millions of Americans who care about America. Democrats must flip these people if they want to win.
This is not the right way to do it. This is a poor political move. It’s also a bad political move.
Psaki’s claim that Biden invented this strategy by himself is absurd, however, Washington Post exposes it.
Biden tried to take the “MAGA” brand as a political attack. It was not accidental. This was the result of a six-month research project by Anita Dunn, Biden’s adviser, and the Center for American Progress Action Fund (a liberal group), to determine the best way to attack Republicans.
It wasn’t because Biden had random thoughts, but he was just having a sudden epiphany. He doesn’t seem to have any coherent thoughts at this point. Psaki and Biden are once more trying to gaslight people.
Seriously, they worked for six months and came up with this. They should be reimbursed for their efforts. I’m sure they didn’t pay anyone to come up with it. Biden does it in such an inconsistent way, not natural — in a sudden flood — that you can tell it’s a manufactured tactic.
You might wonder why they don’t get anything done. They failed to answer the right questions when the baby formula shortage happened. It’s not because they have bad policies. This is what they are focusing on. Their main focus is on how they can hold onto power and win — not how they do their jobs for the American people. They aren’t even great at power grabs, coming up with ideas like these that help their rivals. They are terrible at branding, just like the rest of their job.
