According the New York Times, Washington, DC Democrats want to keep Senator Dianne (D-CA), 88 year-old’s declining mental state secret.
Feinstein was the Senate Judiciary Committee’s top ranking member in the period when Democrats were the majority party in Congress. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D.NY) forced Feinstein to resign. It has been difficult for Feinstein to recall the names of her coworkers and to remember when they met and what their conversation dates were.
Both Democrats and Republicans have widely agreed that Feinstein has “acute, short-term memory issues”.
Half a dozen lawmakers and aides spoke anonymously about the situation of Ms. Feinstein. They said that she sometimes has difficulty remembering the names her colleagues. Ms. Feinstein also frequently forgets details of phone conversations and meetings.
Ms. Ms. Feinstein often engages in phone conversations and meetings, often taking prepared notes and arriving prepared. It is not uncommon for Feinstein to forget about these conversations hours later. They don’t like to name someone they admire and insist on not naming them.
An Democrat lawmaker spoke out to the Times about his February encounter with Feinstein. It was like being a caregiver for someone in constant need of help, he said. He also “remembered” having to introduce himself to Senator several times, helping her locate the purse repeatedly, and answering the same small talk question over and again. ”
A second Democrat lawmaker told The Times that they had spoken on a flight. The second lawmaker said that the conversation was pleasant and brief with little to no unusualities.
The Times reported Ms. Feinstein had been seen flying first class last week from San Francisco, Washington with her long-time housekeeper.
Breitbart News reported some reports that her declining health might mean she should resign quickly. Her office stated that she does not intend to leave office before the term ends.

Recent interviews with four U.S senators, including three Democrats and three former Feinstein staffers revealed that her memory has declined rapidly. Despite representing almost 40 million Californians, this is not surprising.
They said that Feinstein’s memory lapses don’t occur constantly and that she’s not as sharp as she used to be some days. Jackson was a frequent target of Feinstein’s comments about Jackson’s calmness when faced with difficult questions. But, her closest friends stated that Jackson doesn’t seem like she recognize long-time colleagues even on the most difficult days.
One Democratic senator stated that “it was bad” and that it was only getting worse. This person said that Feinstein is having trouble keeping up with the conversations in the Senate.
California Governor. Gavin Newson, a Democrat will choose someone younger and more liberal to replace her term. Joel Pollak (Breitbart News’s Joel Pollak) added:
