This one ended before it began. Over in the sense that Fox News contributor Guy Benson is way too smart to pass on the opportunity to respond to politically-expedient lies about conservative justices of the U.S. Supreme Court. By Mensa member Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar (Minn.), no less.
As the left’s histrionic meltdown continues over SCOTUS finally handing down the 5-4 decision overturning Roe v. Wade, our “peacefully-protesting” left-wing friends’ dangerously aggressive anger against the conservative justices remains at a level previously unseen against the U.S. Judiciary. Omar may not have threatened any specific justices directly — Chuck Schumer style — but she lies about the Roe decision’s impact and the justices. These are five lies:
5 justices were confirmed by a POTUS who lost the popular vote.
4 lied under oath.
2 credibly accused of sexual assault.
1’s seat literally stolen.
1’s spouse was implicated in a coup attempt.
It’s not even close. Do you not just love the way Democrats’ makeup lies from whole cloth and then spout them without hesitation? Then they demand that their targets deny the lies? It’s not funny to me, but it is amusing.

Someone else who didn’t love Omar’s latest lie-fest was Townhall political editor and Fox News contributor Guy Benson, who promptly went about destroying her blatant, politically-expedient nonsense — without so much as breaking a conservative sweat. Benson destroyed Omar’s lies one at a time.

It gets even better. Benson also slammed Omar’s false allegation that Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanaugh, and Christine Blasey Ford were “credibly charged” with sexual assault by Anita Hill (respectively).

This is becoming embarrassing, Ilhan. Do you think it would be a smart idea to look at the facts next time you make a ridiculous, baseless attack? This case is against the Supreme Court justices simply because you disagree with their opinions.

And… lie #4. One. More. Time, Democrats:
4) She was not “stolen” of any seat (she can pick it up with Biden & Schumer), but I thought that false claims that undermine faith and our system were bad.
Omar’s accusation was made based on Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell refusing to hold confirmation hearings in Merrick Garland’s 2016 lame-duck session of Congress and also holding hearings in October 2020 for Amy Coney Barrett, which is also an election year.

Let’s not forget lie #5: Omar’s unwise reference to Clarence Thomas’s wife. Benson was not afraid to expose the hypocrisy of the congresswoman.

Ilhan, that was a very poor move. According to reports, Omar paid her second husband (as far we know) more than $1 million during the 2020 campaign cycle. This was a violation of campaign finance rules.

Omar filed for divorce in 2019 from Ahmed Hirsi, her first husband. Rumors that Hirsi was Omar’s brother circulated, claiming they had “married.” The dynamic duo was also accused of immigration fraud. These rumors are not supported. [rolling-eyes emoji]
The bottom line:
This is something I do quite often, and I am not ashamed to say it. The hypocrisy and blatant lying of the left know no boundaries.
The sad truth is that Democrats are lying (see: Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff et al. They know when they lie. Democrats have continued their decades-long tradition of lying to low-information voters, from Nancy Pelosi to irrelevant radical leftist noisemakers like Ilhan Omar.
