Their website states that the Air Marshal National Council (Advocacy Group), is dedicated to protecting marshals’ rights. It “exclusively [fights] for] Federal Air Marshals to receive maximum legal protection. Labosco wrote President Obama a letter recently but didn’t receive a response.
He wrote us another letter over the weekend because we had Level 4 and Level 3 incidents. The person who cut someone’s throat with a straight razor is serious.
The Department of Homeland Security requested that the marshals be diverted to the border. Alejandro Mayorkas (DHS Secretary) didn’t admit there had been a crisis earlier in the month. At a congressional hearing, he stated that the border was safe.

You deployed highly-trained and highly-skilled Federal Air Marshals to combat the border crisis. They can also perform other law enforcement duties such as transport, hospital watch, and transport.
DHS ordered hundreds of Air Marshals to be removed from the skies during one of America’s busiest travel seasons. This is despite the fact you claim America’s aviation infrastructure is under threat.
Mayorkas didn’t refute the accusation but he simply flatly denied that marshals were doing janitorial work.
Recent incidents have demonstrated the importance of air marshals. These “covert travelers” are trained to respond to in-air emergencies.
Merrill Darrell Fackrell (41), was arrested after he held a straight edge to the throat and neck of another passenger on a flight between New York City and Salt Lake City.
