CDC Director Tests Positive for COVID-19 Again

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director, tested positive for COVID-19 in October. After that, she took a course at Paxlovid. She was negative. According to the CDC, she was then positive for the second time.

CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Wilensky experienced mild symptoms after she was infected with COVID-19. After receiving a course of Paxlovid, she was isolated. After a few days, Dr. Walensky experienced mild symptoms and was able to test negative for the virus on Sunday. She will now be able to participate in her scheduled meetings online.

Walensky was the first person to test positive for the disease, in October. According to the CDC, Walensky had mild symptoms and was up-to-date with her vaccines.

Walensky received a September COVID-19 update shot.

After the positive initial test by Walensky, President Joe Biden received an updated COVID-19 jab. Biden encouraged others to update their COVID-19 jabs after the initial positive test by Walensky.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases was also positive earlier this year. He was fully vaccinated, twice bolstered, and also received Paxlovid.
