After House lawmakers claimed that President Biden was involved with business deals abroad with Hunter, the White House swiftly responded by accusing congressional Republicans. ”
Ian Sams, spokesperson for White House Counsel’s Office stated that instead of working with President Biden on important issues like lower costs, he is now going to work alongside him.
“President Biden won’t allow these political attacks distract him from his focus on Americans’ priorities. He said that he hoped the congressional Republicans would join him in tackling this problem, rather than wasting time and resources on political revenge.
The House majority was secured during the midterm election. GOP Reps. James Comer from Kentucky and Jim Jordan from Ohio held a press conference discussing their impending investigation into Biden’s government.
Comer will chair the House Oversight Committee. Comer stated that whistleblowers had spoken out to show Hunter Biden’s family how they “flourished” in order to become millionaires, and that it was easy for them to have access to the family.

Thursday’s report by the GOP outlines the investigation avenues that they will pursue. Republicans point to evidence from Hunter Biden’s laptop and whistleblowers as proof of a “ten-year-long trend in influence peddling, national security risks,” surrounding the Biden family.
According to the report, the investigation by the “Committee Republicans”, revealed evidence of repeated, deliberate deception against Americans, abuse of Executive Branch power for personal gain, and use of government power to prevent and hinder transparency.
“The President’s involvement in the family’s global ventures, which he made through and through a complex network of family members and associates to benefit his Biden family, has exposed America’s national security to a risk that could be used to undermine The Office Of The President by our enemies. ”
Biden denied any involvement with Hunter’s business affairs.
