They were a great gatekeeper for Twitter for big-name journalists including many you may not have heard of. Twitter followed their lead and enforced the Mean Girls’ rules.
But, Twitter has restored freedom to speech under Elon Musk. The journos are now looking for a new venue where they can be the Mean Girls.
Mastodon was the answer. It is completely Woke and decentralized. Mastodon was the answer. It is a completely Woke (and decentralized!) social media platform. The funding was used to pay domain registration fees as well as service fees.

So journa.host has been blocked by Mastodon servers. This effectively traps our gatekeepers behind the gates.
Vox’s Aja Romao noted in the above thread that Mike Pesca (a New York radio host who used the N-word but had defended his right to do so), had posted a transphobic NYT article. This article was allegedly the first journal because the moderators didn’t ban Pesca.
Mastodon’s sensitive nature made it possible to locate an NYT article that was transphobic.
Parker Molloy is the Wokest of All-Wise. She blocked li’l ol’ me on Twitter many years ago and somehow got herself suspended from journa.host.
Molloy called Pesca an “utter hack”, and there was digital shouting.
I’m not sure how this could have made a server more transphobic. It could be because digital tools were given to overprivileged Karens, who behave like hungry toddlers.
It is clear that many awake journalists attempted to escape Musk’s “oppressive tweet” and were eventually labeled transphobic. They now fight each other like they’re in The Hunger Games. May the odds never favor them.
Musk claims that interaction and traffic have been growing on Twitter. This is what the screeching journos want to replace.
