NY Mom’s Murder Blamed On Hochul’s Policies Could Give Zeldin The Win, Former Clinton Pollster Says

Rep. Lee Zeldin, the Republican challenger for Kathy Hochul. Mark Penn, a former Clinton pollster, believes Zeldin’s victory could be due the tragic death a young mother who was murdered as a result Hochul’s soft on crime policies.
Keaira Benefield (30), was killed in front her children on October 5, 24 hours after her husband was released from custody for allegedly beating her.

Adam Bennefield (45) allegedly drove his car into his wife’s vehicle while she was driving her children to school .

“Crime remains the top issue in New York State.” This horrendous murder, in which someone beats her first is allowed out on a street. This could be close enough for election, clear enough regarding bail laws… wow…this could really be it,” Penn told “America’s Newsroom”, Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino on Wednesday as polls tighten to single figures.

Keaira Bennefield, according to the New York Post begged for help from police in the weeks leading up to her death. Adam Bennefield was convicted of kidnapping a woman at gunpoint and allegedly abusing his ex-wife.

She should be tried. Tammy Hudson, Keaira Benefield’s mother, said to the New York Post that Hochul was also her responsibility.

Dan Bongino – Kathy Hochul’s message for New Yorkers is offensive
Penn discussed the 1990 New York City crime crisis. Penn highlighted that Bill Clinton sought police endorsements and took tough-on crime positions to appeal to the people affected by the issue.

“We see that the policies that led to crime in the 1990s have been repeated now, and it seems even more extreme. This is not the truth.

Penn said Zeldin ran an intelligent campaign by focusing heavily on crime. Hochul, however, seeks to defer the issue until after the election. This could impact her chances of winning.

Ron DeSantis campaign to Lee Zeldin: Things “get better” if he’s elected governor
Recently, Zeldin made an appearance alongside Ron DeSantis in Staten Island. He was there to rally voters. On Tuesday night, he told Sean Hannity that he has the momentum and energy to win.

On “Hannity,” he said that “People are done Kathy Hochul.” “This is Republicans and Democrats joining together as New Yorkers in saving the state.

New York’s rating was changed by Fox News Power Rankings from Solid D to Likely D last Wednesday as crime became the dominant issue.
