Just days before Election Day, the Cook Political Report changed its rating for a battleground race in favor Republicans. This gave the GOP an advantage in the Wisconsin Senate race.
On Friday, the political forecaster changed the race between Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Democratic Lt. Governor. Mandela Barnes was transformed from a toss up to “Lean Republican.”
“This election will be close like most Wisconsin elections, but voters should keep in mind that Mandela Barnes, a radical who wants more of the same Bideneconomic policies that have led 40-years to high inflation and record gasoline prices, and he also wants to defund police,” Mike Marinella, spokesperson, said to Fox News Digital.
Fox News Digital reached Barnes for comment but Barnes did not reply.
This new shift is just days after the nonpartisan analyzer changed its ratings in Arizona, one of the most critical races that could decide which party controls the Senate.
The rating of Democratic Senator Mark Kelly, who is fighting for his Grand Canyon State seat against Trump-backed Blake Masters was changed from “Lean Democrat to a tossup.”
Pennsylvania’s GOP nominee Dr. Mehmet Oz and Lt. Governor are competing for the open Senate seat. John Fetterman and Dr. Mehmet Oz are running for the open seat in Pennsylvania’s Senate. According to the Cook Report, this race is a toss up.
After being considered a safe seat for the Democratic Party, the Nevada Senate race in which former Attorney General Adam Laxalt is vying to unseat Democratic Senator Catherine Cortez Masto has been projected as a toss up.
The Peach State has Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) and Herschel Walker in a close matchup, which is also known as a tossup.
Fox News’ Power Rankings considers the Arizona, Pennsylvania and Nevada Senate races to be tossups.
