Biden Admin Sues Arizona Over Creation Of Shipping Container Border Wall

The Biden administration sued Arizona Wednesday over the construction of a temporary border wall using shipping containers, razor wire and razor wire to stop illegal immigration flows.

Ducey stated that “Arizona is done,” in a statement. “We cannot wait any longer.”

60 double-stacked shipping containers were used to construct the structure. They were welded together and then topped with razor wire. It measures 22 feet high and weighs in at nearly 9,000 lbs, according to his office.

The impact of the metal giant on the environment has been a source of concern for activists. There are also ongoing humanitarian concerns regarding walls that prevent migrants from entering the United States.

The Bureau of Reclamation, the federal government, has sent warnings to Arizona claiming that the containers were located near the Morelos Dam as well as on land belonging to the Cocopah Indian Tribe’s West Reservation. The Bureau of Reclamation also stated that the container’s placement could interfere with a Customs and Border Protection project to fill in the gaps. It calls upon Arizona to immediately stop construction and help to remove the containers.

Arizona reacted to the “lackof coordination” by federal agencies. It stated that states like Arizona cannot rely on federal agencies to protect their security.

Ducey’s Administration filed a lawsuit in October over the matter to assert its right to defend itself.

Ducey stated in a statement that “our border communities are overwhelmed illegal activity because of the Biden administration’s failure to secure southern border.” “Arizona is protesting on behalf of our citizens. We are defending the progress we have made and rebuking federal bureaucrats with this lawsuit.

“The safety and security in Arizona and its citizens cannot be overlooked. Arizona will do the job Joe Biden refuses — secure the border in every way possible. He said, “We’re not backing down.”

The administration now has a lawsuit against the state, claiming that Arizona is trespassing onto federal lands and seeking compensation.

The lawsuit states that Arizona has refused to stop its trespasses or remove shipping containers from federal land. It has also indicated that it will continue to violate federal lands and place additional shipping containers. “The United States brought this action to seek appropriate relief for Arizona’s unlawful continuing trespasses, invasions of the United States’ paramount sovereign property rights under the U.S. Constitution.” Constitution.”

Ducey’s Office responded to the lawsuit by calling the claims “unfounded and inaccurate” while stating that Arizona is ready to work with the federal government to build a border wall.

The letter states that Arizona’s border barrier was intended to be temporary until the federal government creates a permanent solution.

This is the latest battle between Republican border states, and the Biden administration over how they should handle the crisis at the Mexican border. The administration has reacted furiously to Arizona and Texas by moving ahead with their own border barriers as well as busing migrants into liberal cities like Washington D.C.

The battle between Arizona’s administration and Arizona could be over soon. In January, Katie Hobbs, the Democratic Governor-elect, will replace Ducey. She has stated that her administration will eliminate the temporary barriers at the border.
