Biden’s Festival of Weirdness

Joe Biden is prone to lying and trying too hard to make himself look better.

It’s not clear why he feels so insecure and thinks he must keep creating new things to make himself seem more important. It’s a problem he has had his whole life. On Wednesday, he fantasized about how he could be an All-American.

There’s more to it than lies and puffery. There’s also the general weirdness. It’s as though he didn’t learn how to interact with people normally while a politician. He says strange things that he believes are funny, but they are not.

Biden was speaking at a Tribal Nations summit and began to talk about his wife. He started exaggerating about how much she had spent time with the Navajos. Then he bizarrely suggested that she might not return home after a visit.

“I’m worried she’s not going to come home one of these days when she goes,” Biden said. “You think I’m joking, I’m telling you. If I hear more about the Navajos than I hear about me, um… Y’all think I’m kidding, don’t you?”

Um, Joe? It doesn’t matter what you are trying to say, it’s not funny. It’s not funny when he says, “You think I’m kidding,” but it’s always humorous.

He seemed to believe he was being heckled at one point during the remarks.

He was not trying to shake hands with an invisible person. I don’t know what he thought he heard. He seemed confused.

Biden may have forgotten something important as he finished his remarks. Biden and his team have always stated that he intends to run in 2024. However, he hasn’t officially declared. He seemed to ask a question and then answer it with this answer.

Biden replied, “I don’t know about that,” to an audience member who yelled in insane anger, “Four More Years.” This seems worthy of further plumbing. Does he think he’s saying now that there’s more to the question about his running? Are Democrats pushing him out by Democrats who want another candidate?

Biden then attended the National Christmas Tree Lighting and made a bizarre statement about a “beautiful woman” there.

Joe completed the festival of strangeness by waving goodbye to Jill and starting to leave the stage. Joe just stood there, confused.

She reached out her hand to signal that they were going, and then she stopped smiling. She seemed to have abandoned her job as a handler and just kept walking away. He was slow to see that he was supposed go. He finally got it and he took the mic with him.

His team must have neglected to tell him that he should drop the mic and not steal it. If anyone was around him with any conscience, they would have told him to take it with him. They don’t. We are now.
