Three buses with 140 illegal immigrants from Texas’ southern border were dropped off outside the Washington, D.C. residence of Vice President Kamala Harris on Christmas Eve.
Naturally, so-called advocates of these migrants weren’t impressed. The White House, responsible for the ongoing border crisis, called the shipment of illegal immigrants a “cruel, dangerous, and shameful stunt.”
“Governor Abbott abandoned children on the side of the road in below-freezing temperatures on Christmas Eve without coordinating with any Federal or local authorities,” White House spokesperson Abdullah Hasan said in a statement. However, it is not confirmed that Abbott is responsible for sending these particular buses.
Hasan stated, “We are open to working alongside any Republican or Democrat for real solutions such as the comprehensive immigration reform, border security, and President Biden’s first day in office. But these political games only do little and put lives at risk.”
It’s funny how people who want all these immigrants to come to the country aren’t interested in having them in their backyards.
