I also took my wife and daughter with me to New Hampshire to check how they liked campaigning. This is a very serious decision for our family. It was not something I wanted to do.
Bolton believes it is time for the party to transition into a post-Trump era. This is one of his motivations for running. He also raised concerns about Trump’s involvement in the party. The recent Mar-a-Lago circus and poll results suggest that Trump’s viability is a valid topic of conversation.
Bolton would prioritize free speech and the First Amendment. He also wants to abolish Section 230 of The Communications Act. Bolton claims it is now time for Big Tech and its platforms to be held responsible.
It’s way too early for popcorn, and far too soon to make predictions about the future of President Obama. Bolton, at the very least, will keep things interesting for a while.
