While you’re doing your normal tasks, such as working or caring for your children, the World Economic Forum is hosting all of the self-proclaimed elites from around the globe in Davos, Switzerland. They are doing what? They’re trying to save your life, of course.
Because you, as a normal person, use a gas stove and drive a car and seek to live a first-world life, you are causing harm to the planet in many ways. A conglomerate of super-wealthy flying to a resort town in private jets is a better way to spread awareness.
A performance by the WEF started to circulate on Thursday. It is not only hilarious but also perfectly captures everything wrong about the world’s leadership.

You have to watch the video, but you won’t be able to keep your face straight while you do so. And look, I get it. Although the woman singing is clearly talented, let’s just say that this song doesn’t do her justice.
However, this is what the WEF actually is. It is a group of rabid hypocrites that live high-class lives and preach doom over obscure causes. If the intent of the event was not so sinister, that might be okay. It doesn’t matter if you believe there is a global conspiracy to control the WEF, but there’s no doubt that it’s stocked full of leaders and other people who want to rule the world.
What is freedom of speech? That can lead to hate speech, so we need to get rid of it. Is freedom of movement allowed? This creates too many carbon emissions. Do you own your home? Suburban sprawl is harmful to the environment. It is better to pack everyone into high-rise urban areas using public transport to reduce the “impact”.
These are all ideas that were shared at the WEF this year with the intent to get the political power to implement them. However, none of the super-rich at Davos has any intention to alter their lifestyles. They can keep their beachfront homes and private jets. Only you, the mere average, can eat plant-based protein and ride homeless-filled subways all over.
People who act at this level of hypocrisy are particularly disgusting. It’s why we should mock the WEF for what it is. There aren’t any real solutions. It’s a backslapping convention that allows those who are privileged enough to have control over the lives of others.
