An officer from Minnesota apologized to some namby-pambies for posting a “thin blue line” flag on social media in celebration of National Law Enforcement Appreciation day.

Virgil Green, Chief of Police for the Golden Valley, released an obsequious apology following an alleged flood of complaints about the symbol’s meaning.

Green looked on Facebook and said, “Our social media posting also contained an image of the thin blue line flag.” “The post was meant to thank our officers but it seems that some people were offended by the image. “I deeply regret this.”

There is an angry backlash from pro-police supporters in the comments section.

“What a disgrace that so-called Chief is a Joke, actually”.

“You gave in to those who will b***h if it changes direction. Total disgraceful leadership. Total disgrace.”

The chief also added a link showing the flag’s true meaning. This has been criticized as a sign of “white supremacy.”

It’s not the correct answer to bow down and kiss the ring that they woke, but this isn’t the first time the cops have done so. After one complainant that the flags were related to the Proud Boys, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), removed the thin blue line flags from public areas of their headquarters.
