California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), a California governor, criticized “weaponsof war” after a Half Moon Bay shooter used his handgun to kill seven.
Breitbart News reported that seven people were killed in shootings at two mushroom farms on Monday morning.
CBS News reported that the suspect shooter “drove to the substation situated between the two businesses, and surrendered himself to deputies.”
ABC 7 reported that Gov. Newsom made a visit to Half Moon Bay, and stated that there was one common factor: these guns. There is no opposition to gun responsibility. What is the matter with us? These weapons of war and large-capacity clips are allowed on our streets and sidewalks. This is why we allow this culture and this pattern to continue.”
Half Moon Bay was the second of three shooting incidents that occurred in California gun-controlled California during a three-day period.
The first was Saturday’s Lunar New Year celebration attack, which resulted in 10 innocent deaths. Third was the Oakland shooting in which eight people were killed and one more injured Monday night.
CBS News interviewed Newsom following the Lunar New Year attack. He described the Second Amendment to be a suicide pact and stated that he and California legislators will continue to push for more gun control.
