Joe Biden’s campaign has removed some of his tax returns, in secret, after allegations that he may not have reported thousands of dollars of rental income on his taxes.
We previously reported that Hunter Biden claimed to have paid his father $49,910 a monthly rent. This is a strange claim considering the home’s value. He was in Joe’s Wilmington, Del. home from March 2017 through February 2018. It is the same place where Biden kept classified documents next to his Corvette.
According to Schedule E of Joe Biden’s 2017 tax forms, Joe Biden claimed $19,800 for “rents received”, and zero in 2018. This discrepancy could indicate that Joe Biden did not report more than half of a million dollars in income on his tax returns.
Curiously, these documents are not available any more on his campaign website. While it appears that his tax returns remain available for public inspection, many of the files previously available to the public have been deleted. Instead, if you click on any of the links, the website redirects the user immediately to a donation page.
It’s not clear when or why the files were deleted. Joe Biden made transparency a central issue of his campaign and presidency. He never missed the chance to compare his disclosure of tax returns to Trump’s refusal. There are many questions raised by the missing tax returns. Is this connected to Hunter Biden? We should not forget Hunter Biden was under investigation by the federal government for tax fraud. Hunter Biden reported over half a million dollars in rental payments to his dad, but his father didn’t report this income. Did this investigation result in the documents being removed?
