It’s not unusual for news stories to raise more questions than they answer in our post-journalistic age. But Las Vegas’ KLAS published a Thursday article that would have won the Pulitzer Prize, Unanswered Question Division. If they had such a thing, they should. A man is being charged with terrorism for causing major damage to a sun-powered plant. This is all we know. But why? But what was he doing? There are many possibilities. But we can only rule out that the perp wasn’t one of those white supremacists Old Joe Biden and his handlers insist constitute the greatest terror threat to the country today.

KLAS reported that Mohammad Mesmarian, a man he called Mohammad Mesmarian, is facing terror-related charges. He allegedly drove his car through the gate of a solar power plant outside Las Vegas. Then, he set the car on fire.

Mega Solar Array is the name of the plant. It is a large installation that “provides energy for MGM properties,” which can be quite significant in the Las Vegas region. Invenergy runs it. Mesmarian has “rammed through a fence and set the car on fire” and put it out of service for at least two more years.

The first group of questions concerns Mesmarian’s origins and how he managed to escape the plant after setting fire to his car. He burned the car “out of Idaho.” Was he driving it from Idaho to Vegas? Maybe. After employees left for the day, Mesmarian was reportedly the police suspect. Mesmarian allegedly set the car on fire, but it wasn’t until Wednesday morning that the video was captured.

It only gets stranger from there. Mesmarian was reportedly seen sitting in a chair for 15 minutes watching the car burn before he walked off. Police found Mesmarian in Boulder Beach at Lake Mead on Thursday, one day after the fire. How did he travel from the plant to Lake Mead about half an hour away? Nobody knows.

The second question is about why Mesmarian did it. According to police, he said that he had burned the Toyota Camry “a few days ago”. He also claimed that he did it “for the future” at a Tesla solar power plant. What way? There is no way to know. Is it possible that he did it to save the world from the Left’s impending climate apocalypse? Are you a radical environmentalist who opposes solar plants? Was he mistakenly under the impression that he was setting his car on fire at a traditional power plant? Radical Leftists are not afraid to hate power plants and have been targeted many times. But what about a solar power plant?

It is also important to mention his name in light of the sad fact that a lot of Muslims (or variations thereof) are involved in terrorist plots and attacks. Mohammad Mesmarian claimed that he set his car ablaze “for the future.” Did he really mean that he wanted to destabilize American society and prepare for the establishment of a caliphate in the future?

The news reports that have been made available do not contain any information about this. Given the possibility that Mesmarian is either an Islamic terrorist or a Leftist terrorist, or a combination of both, it is possible that we will never get clear answers from law enforcement or media outlets that continue to cover both sides as much as they can. It would have been great if Mohammad Mesmarian wore a MAGA hat, and told police that he attacked the solar plant to make America great again. Then we would have all the details of his life. He doesn’t fit into the media narrative so it’s likely that he’ll be in the memory hole with Mohammad Mesmarian.
