Fox News Digital reported Monday that New York City is requiring government workers to undergo a “radical critical-race theory-inspired” training.

Fox News Digital obtained a copy the “mandatory training,” which was sent to all city employees by March 6. According to a city email, the training would teach employees about “the importance and equity of racial equality…in the workplace”.

Joel Pollak, Senior Editor at Large of Breitbart News, has explained that Critical Race Theory (CRT), claims that all institutions, including our government, economy, and culture, are built on racial hierarchy with whites at the top and blacks at bottom. Even things that appear to be race neutral are racist when they are closer examined. CRT was invented by the Frankfurt School, a radical left-wing intellectual group. They wanted to culturally change Marxism’s limitations.

A source familiar with “racial equity training” told the outlet that they had been discussing equity and how to view people through a particular lens.

“I don’t agree with their demands for city employees.” According to the source, the [racial equality training] makes me believe they want contracts with the city and hiring from the city to be viewed through this lens.” “And that’s exactly what I believe is unfair. It is against their [stated claims] that everyone should be treated equally

According to the report, the training stated that the idea about race was created in order to create a system of oppression and exclusion.

According to reports, the training also examines other types of racism than “individual racism.” It calls for city workplaces and cities to have “antiracism Training” and create “safe spaces” where race or “unconscious bias can be discussed.
