Paul Pelosi Body-Cam Footage Released

Published on

The long-awaited body-can footage of the attack on Paul Pelosi, by David DePape, has been released.

It shows police officers approaching the house and knocking on the doors. Pelosi and DePape both appear to be holding a hammer during what is clearly a dispute.

Pelosi is attacked by DePape within seconds. The blow was delivered just behind the camera on the doorframe. Pelosi is motionless on the ground as the police rush to subdue him.

The video is so close that I don’t understand why it was. It is also difficult to understand the lack of answers and secrecy. It appears that what happened was pretty much as it was described.

Any speculation will be left to the other contributors. That’s the bodycam footage.
