Joe Biden’s lawyer Bob Bauer said Wednesday morning that the FBI was searching the president’s vacation home in Rehoboth Beach. Agents are searching for more classified documents.
Bauer released a statement saying that the DOJ was conducting a planned search at the president’s home in Rehoboth (Delaware) today with his full support and cooperation. “In the interest of operational security, integrity, and standard DOJ procedures, it requested that this work be done without prior notice to the public. We agreed to cooperate.”
Bauer said, “The search today marks a further step towards a thorough and timely DOJ procedure that we will continue to support and facilitate fully.” At the end of today’s search, we will have more information.
Fox News was told by sources that FBI agents are on the property and will stay there until the search is complete. The search was not authorized by any warrant.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that the FBI conducted a search of the Penn Biden Center back in November—a detail previously not disclosed by the White House or the Department of Justice. Last month, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre falsely claimed that investigators were done searching Biden’s Wilmington, Del., home when the search is clearly ongoing.
