DeSantis Crushes Soros-Funded DA Who May Indict Trump

Following President Trump’s prediction on Saturday that he would be arrested this coming Tuesday, his allies in the media and politics wasted no time in publicly pressuring Gov. DeSantis to denounce the law enforcement officials in New York. Predictably, they portrayed DeSantis’s so-called silence on the matter as nearly traitorous.

Jason Miller, a former senior advisor to Trump, attacked both DeSantis (a possible GOP candidate for President) and Nikki Haley (a current GOP candidate as president), for not speaking out on the matter. Trump’s campaign’s War Room account also criticized “some individuals” who didn’t speak out.

Rumors, leaks, and innuendo have driven much of the news about Trump’s possible indictment. The facts, however, are not so abundant. On Monday morning, a reporter asked DeSantis for his thoughts on Trump’s possible indictment. He also wanted to know if he had any involvement in Trump’s extradition to New York.

DeSantis answered the question with grace and skill, blasting Alvin Bragg, Manhattan District Attorney, for being a Soros-funded DA who is dedicated to a political agenda and not the rule of the law.

“So, I have seen rumors swirl,” DeSantis said he has not yet seen any facts, so he doesn’t know what will happen. “The Manhattan district Attorney is a Soros-funded prosecution. He, along with other Soros-funded prosecutors, uses his office to implement a political agenda in society at the cost of law and safety.

DeSantis attacked Bragg’s records, noting that Bragg has “downgraded more than 50% of felonies into misdemeanors” as well as that he “doesn’t want to be in jail for the vast majority of crimes.”

DeSantis believes Bragg’s soft-on-crime approach has led to Manhattan’s rising crime rate.

DeSantis refused to comment on the Trump case’s details, including the alleged hush-money payments to Stormy Daniels. He continued to criticize Bragg for politicizing his office in order to target Trump.

“If a prosecutor ignores crimes occurring every day in his jurisdiction and then he decides to go back many years ago to try and use something about pornstar hush money payments, that’s an example pursuing a political agenda.” “That’s a way to weaponize the office, and it’s fundamentally wrong.”

DeSantis noted that Bragg is not the problem; all Soros-funded District Attorneys are following his playbook. DeSantis stated that district attorneys are “a threat to society” because they ignore crime and empower criminals.

DeSantis concluded his remarks by reminding that he is the only governor to have removed a Soros-funded DA from office. He also stated that he would not participate in the “manufactured circus”, a Soros-funded DA.

DeSantis stated that Bragg was trying to make a political spectacle. He’s trying virtue signal for his base. “I’ve had and will continue to deal with real issues here in Florida.”
