As of Tuesday and Wednesday, March Madness 2023 was officially underway, with Texas A&M – Corpus Christi, Pittsburgh, Fairleigh Dickinson, and Arizona State all advancing beyond the First Four games to the main bracket of the NCAA Men’s Division I basketball tournament.
Highlights from Thursday’s games included the Furman Paladins (13th seed) defeating the Virginia Cavaliers (4th seed), who are no strangers to first-round tournament failure.
A Twitter video showing a man standing beside Vice-President Kamala Hariri was another thing that caught attention at the tournament. He was with her husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, at the Howard/Kansas match.
Harris graduated from Howard University.
The video, which has since been deleted by the Twitter user who first posted it, made it appear as though the unidentified man was pulling a creepy Joe Biden move by sniffing Harris’ hair and ogling her at one point during the game.
Other Twitter users picked up the clip and posted it as well:
Some dude just got caught on live television sniffing Kamala Harris 😂 pic.twitter.com/AwohVm0s8Y

Some people began to link the man to Joe Biden. Many thought that the man could be Biden’s long-lost child.
I found it funny that the man was a bit ogling at me when I first saw him.
The problem is with the “sniffing man” allegation and the ogling chat. It’s clear that the man tilted his head in order to hear Kamala Harris, a shorter man, talking during the game.
Greg Price, a conservative commentator, and blogger posted the original video. He quickly apologized and shared the entire video with his followers.
“Would like to apologize in writing, sniff man. He appeared to have leaned into someone to speak with him. ”
Would like to formally apologize to sniff man. We got buzzed from the booth and upon further review, it appears he leaned in to talk to someone. The flag has been picked up. pic.twitter.com/JkPOyxpGFl

This is the lesson: Don’t wait for long versions of “too great not to be true” videos. These videos are too long.
Howard was 16th in the Howard/Kansas team. He lost the match 68-96 to the Jayhawks.
It is fitting, all things considered.
