97% Say Biden’s Economy Is Important Issue

The mother of the murder victim from New York City shouted at Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) during a House Judiciary Committee hearing field on Monday. She warned him not to “insult [her] intelligence.”

Madeline Brame was one of the many witnesses who testified before the committee on Monday, highlighting the crime issue in Manhattan. Goldman tried to criticize the hearing instead of asking Brame questions, saying it was a coverup for Republicans trying to defend Donald Trump.

Goldman, who was impeachment lawyer during Trump’s initial impeachment, tried to explain to Brame his perspective on the situation after other Democrats claimed that Republicans used the witnesses as “props”, to defend Trump.

“We are not insulting you. You may have had a terrible experience, but this is all a charade designed to hide an abuse of authority. Goldman stated that [Republicans] were constantly talking about Donald Trump outside this hearing. The purpose of the hearing was to cover up what they knew to be an improper investigation [into district attorney Alvin Bragg].

Sorry, I can’t do it now because I have only 20 seconds. “But I, I do” Goldman replied.

Brame interrupted as Jim Jordan, R, Ohio, Chairman, tried to maintain order. You’re insulting me as if I don’t know what’s happening. OK, I am fully aware of the situation. “That’s why I left the Democratic Party plantation.”

Brame testified about Bragg’s handling of the murder case of her son. Her son, Army Sgt. Hason Correa was beaten up and stabbed 9 times in 2018 by multiple people. Bragg eventually dropped the charges against two suspects after a lengthy prosecution lasting more than four-years. Two other people ended up with life sentences.

Brame said that Bragg’s office had only served to exacerbate the city’s crime problem. It showed no “measurable” results in lowering violent crime rates.
