Mike Pompeo Announces 2024 Presidential Election

Mike Pompeo, the former Secretary of State of the United States, announced on Friday that he would not run for the Republican nomination to be president of the United States of America in 2024.

Pompeo told Special Report that he and Susan, his wife, had considered the possibility for several months before deciding it was not the best course of action.

He said, “I’ve made a choice.” “[We] have prayedfully concluded that we will not be joining the race in 2020. We care about America, and while the issues that I have been discussing for the last year and a half – and honestly for decades – matter a lot, this isn’t our time.”

Pompeo, when asked if his former boss Donald Trump’s presence in the race had any impact on his decision, said that it hadn’t. He added later that he would support the GOP nominee no matter what.

“No. Not at all. “This is a deeply private decision for Susan, me, and Nick, and Rachel, his wife,” Pompeo said. He added that the GOP should focus on policies, not personalities.

“It was never about how this would look. This race isn’t, I hope. “I hope it’s these ideas.”

Pompeo cited the military record he has as a West Point Graduate and U.S. Army Officer, saying that America is losing its “edge”. He also said the fact that the Treasury spends more than they take in is concerning.

These are the things I am concerned about. Can we make a difference? Is it the right time to run for the presidency and to work on this issue? “We just came to the conclusion that this was not the right time for us.”

Pompeo, when asked if he planned to endorse a candidate for the GOP primary, shifted his position, saying that Biden was doing “disastrous things” to America and working families, and that he wanted to find a candidate who would run an issue-based campaign focused primarily on the issues important to American working families and national security.

When I find out who it is, like I have done all my life, I will get behind that person and do whatever I can to help him or her.

Trump has been the frontrunner of the GOP nomination polls for the past few months. He is joined by the former South Carolina governor and former ambassador. Former Arkansas Governor Nikki Haley. Asa Hutchinson and Vivek Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur. Haley’s fellow Palmetto Republican Senator Tim Scott has formed an exploratory group.

Trump’s recent comments about loyalty were criticized by Florida Governor Rick Scott, a potential candidate for the presidency in 2024. Pompeo was criticized for his comments about Ron DeSantis’ decision to run for governor of Florida in 2024. He said that the former president had no influence on DeSantis.

He said, “I think that they are looking for someone to clearly articulate their vision of what parents should be doing to ensure their children’s success in school and how to take crime back from our streets and city.”

“I do not know whether the American people will ultimately choose President Trump or if our party will select him as its nominee. But I hope that the debates will focus on real issues, and things that matter.

“And if this happens, America would be in a pretty good place.”

Many pundits have long considered Pompeo a potential 2024 candidate, since he has spent the last two years traveling the country in order to raise money and campaign for Republicans who are running in the elections of 2022. Pompeo visited Iowa, New Hampshire South Carolina, and Nevada multiple times, as well as the other four first-voting states in the Republican Presidential Nominating Calendar. He also strengthened relationships with the states’ early voting and caucus states, which usually precede the start of a White House Campaign.

Pompeo spent several months in the early part of this year on a nationwide book tour to promote his memoir, “Never give an inch: Fighting for America I Love.” The autobiography tells the story of his career, which includes being a West Point graduate, an Army armor and calvary soldier stationed in West Germany, a politician elected to Congress from Kansas and later serving as America’s top diplomatic official during Trump’s presidency. Many potential and current presidential candidates consider writing a book to be a rite-of-passage.

Pompeo’s Political Action Committee placed ads in early voting states last year, another indication that he seriously considered a White House run. In an interview with Fox News Digital, Pompeo said that he was “doing the things one would do in order to be prepared to make an announcement, and then engage with the American public on the ideas we believe are important.”
