Lock Donald Trump up, or don’t. But telling me that “no one is above the law.” This is one of the most absurd fantasies propagated by the left.
Many people are clearly above the law.
Hillary Clinton, Trump’s 2016 rival, is also above the law. 36 of those emails contained confidential data. 18 of them contained “top secret” information. This could lead to up to 10 years of imprisonment.
The then FBI Director James Comey told us all of this. Comey noted that Clinton was “extremely negligence” in her business dealings. He did not recommend that Clinton be charged because the state couldn’t prove Clinton’s intent. Comey also stated that Clinton was above the law and “gross negligence”.
Hillary’s husband was also above the law and falsely claimed that he had done it under oath. Democrats claimed that puritanical conservatives only followed Bill because of a trumped-up charge about “sex.” Trump’s campaign finance accusations relating to Stormy Dan’s “hush money”, are also about sex.
Don’t worry, Nancy Pelosi (ex-House Speaker) says that everyone has the right to a trial to prove innocence. She also includes Republicans. It wasn’t about a judicial dispute but about alleged criminal behavior. The Hawaii senator replied, “I put his denial within the context of all I know about him as relates to his cases.”
If you’re a conservative, your politics will be bad. If your politics are evil, you will be considered a conservative.
It has been a funny journey, despite the fact, there are solid political arguments against Trump. We have gone from accusing Trump of being a seditious actor under the orders of an antagonistic country to indicting him on a seven-year-old count of campaign finance violations. This is something I would like to see.
Everyone knows what the Republicans will do if they return the favor.
There is no double standard. Trump is a target of this kind of abuse.
Conservatives who contend that Democrats won’t like where the Trump arraignment leads are probably engaged in some wish-casting. Those who hold the upper hand in our major institutions aren’t too worried about short-term threats of retribution. And, anyway, progressives love Calvinball, a “system” of constantly shifting norms that reward those most willing to use power. That’s the point.
