Two groups of four started fighting during a round of golf.
According to a video uploaded to Instagram, the melee took place at Cleveland Heights Golf Course, in Lakeland (Florida), near tee boxes.
One group began to yell at another for their slow pace of play. The foursome that was being yelled at said they couldn’t do much, and blamed their slowness on those in front of them.
There’s a large group ahead of us. One man said, “We can’t go faster.”
Two golfers shoved each other, and then, after a missed kick by the opponent, fists began flying.
The video cuts off the incident when it appears to have been broken up but one of the golfers still asked for more.
“Bring it, b—-!” He yelled.
Another pair of golfers was squared off on the tee, and punches continued to be thrown. Someone said that a group in front of everyone is the cause of the slow pace, and eventually the fight.
A golfer tried to kick a fellow player in the butt. However, the other man grabbed the leg and caused the man to fall onto his own backside.
Someone told a ranger that a group “had been hitting balls at us all damn day” when he asked about the situation.
