Joe Biden’s team has had a terrible energy policy since day one. They have demonized fossil fuels, and their bad decisions have hurt our independent energy supply. They have done things such as shutting down the Keystone Pipeline and putting up barriers against domestic oil production. Also, they’re looking at all sorts of crazy ways to control how we use our appliances. Even crazier, they’re proposing that all military vehicles be converted to electric. This is a completely insane idea and would put our military readiness at risk, if even possible.

You would think the left would be pleased that Biden and his staff are so onboard with them.

But they aren’t. They think that the Biden team must go further, as some of them demonstrated this week at Politico Energy Summit, Washington D.C.

At the event, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm appeared on the stage. Environmental activists from a group known as “Climate Defiance”, began to rush the stage. They were chanting “No LNG, no MVP, Granholm, you are killing me.”

Mountain Valley Pipeline is a planned pipeline between West Virginia and Virginia. LNG is liquid natural gas. When a cabinet member is present at an event the security will not be happy if people rush the stage. It was a wild situation. The security that they had on-site at the event wasn’t very good. The activists were not happy with the outcome, as it became very physical.

They rushed to the stage individually, hoping that if they made multiple efforts independently they would be able to draw security and allow someone on stage. Security was swift; they physically removed a few people from the stage, and even took them off by their feet. It took several minutes for the situation to be brought under control because there were so many people involved.

They cut the live stream during the chaos, saying that the “program would resume shortly.” The feed returned after the situation had calmed, and people were then removed.

This is another example of the “left eating left”. The Democrats set them in motion by promoting climate change nonsense. Now they are unable to keep these people quiet or in check. These people will never be satisfied until they get everything they want. Even though Biden has been so radical on this subject, nothing is enough. Biden has been pushing climate change for years. He even passed the Inflation Reduction Act which is really a Trojan Horse to promote climate action and does little to reduce inflation.

This kind of behavior has only emboldened radicals. Biden makes them think they can get more and they will keep pushing him for compliance. They only need to scream more to get him to move. This is a vicious circle that hurts our energy independence as well as our common sense.
