Elon Musk Slams Working From Home As Morally Wrong, Says Laptop Class Living In La-La Land

Published on

Tesla CEO Elon Muss said that working at home was “morally wrong”, when other service providers still had to appear in person.

Musk said that there are exceptions to the rule, but the idea of working from home reminds him of the fake Marie Antoinette quotation, “Let them eat the cake ,”'”.

You’re really going to make the people who made your car work in the factory and not at home? You are going to tell the people who produce your food… they can’t be at home? You’re going to make the people who fix your house – they can’t do it from home? But, you can? “Does that sound morally right?” The billionaire was curious. “That’s wrong.”

Musk said that he considered it both a moral and productivity issue.

Musk stated that workers should not be “on their high horses” and “work from home bulls —.”

He said that he believes that people are more productive in person.

Musk said that the “laptop class” lives in “La-la Land.”

Musk stated, “I’m telling you, just put in 40 hours.” “And frankly, it does not even have to be from Monday through Friday. You could work from Monday to Thursday. “I also think that people should take vacations.”

Musk has said that there are two or three full days per year when he doesn’t work.

Some companies have permanently reversed the pandemic rules of work-from home, while others continue to operate remotely or in hybrid settings.
