According to officials in South Georgia, a man shot and killed three people on Thursday before killing himself.
Verlyn Brock, Colquitt County coroner, said that the man killed his grandmother and mother at their homes in Moultrie before going to a McDonald’s and killing another woman.
Brock stated that the man then killed himself.
The coroner said it’s not clear if the man knew who was killed in the McDonald’s.
In a Fox News Digital statement, Georgia Bureau of Investigation special agent Jamy Steinberg stated that the agency had “responded” to several scenes.
Steinberg said that “multiple deaths are involved”.
Steinberg stated that they were working on obtaining more information and locating additional witnesses.
On Thursday morning, police were seen at McDonald’s and stopped traffic on a main street in the town.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation stated that the Moultrie Police Department had requested assistance with the crime.
